This week’s Articulate challenge is to come up with some ways to help survive the holidays.

Put a smile on someone's face.

How could you be stressed around this guy?

What’s so Stressful?

To be honest, I couldn’t think of anything terribly stressful at first. After a bit of pondering I decided that money and high expectations might be the biggest culprits – so I came up with some low-cost (largely no-cost) ideas that don’t have to involve much frenzy.

Have a Peek & Happy Holidays!

I dipped into MorgueFile again for the images. I love the ones that look “real” as opposed to slick or professional. Feel free to take a peek at my handy little demo right here. Here’s wishing you nothing but wonderful, stress-free holiday delights!

Nice. Some good advice there… except the sugar part that is ;) Do something with Fruit and Veggies would be a great alternative.

Thanks Jeff! You’ll notice I carefully did not say to eat sugar – just to do something with it. I wouldn’t make or eat those cookies, but if someone gave them to me I might decorate with them. :)

Cool project, Jackie. I really like the flexibility of your image click-reveal interaction.

Umm… why wouldn’t you eat those cookies? Just looking at those cookies makes me want to bake a batch.

Thanks, David! Glad you like it. A relatively quick solution in a tight challenge week. :)

As for the cookies, I included them for their homemade charm and appeal – so I’m glad that worked! I used to be a baking ninja, but that and sugar sort of fell away with the vegan thing. Now Dan and Bert have to bake their own treats. If you start making a batch of these don’t be surprised if those two show up. They have keen noses for that sort of thing.
